Given he is one of our only defensive players with pace used by Martin definite new contract with a bonus and review if promoted.
For me, looking over a number of years he has lacked concentration being caught up field when his defensive services were needed but in more recent games before his injury he seems to have developed and has been one of our best players.
We have missed his presence in the team and at the moment we need him at the club.

He ran his contract down at QPR as well. If he wants to move on he will be replaced. He is playing the best football of his career so I advise him to sign a new deal.

Personally I’m happy the info is correct but don’t expect any action from the club until the WC.
