Son lives in Chester. Has a large house . Next door another big house with a huge Labour banner. Even in the affluent areas in Chester the Conservatives are held in contempt right now. I never disclose my voting intentions but I couldn’t vote Conservative now and not sure Labour would be any better but they couldn’t be more inept . Grim times Jim ,but I’m closing on on 73 yrs of age and we ve faced many dark days .

They’ve begged me to join them for years but I don’t think they are radical enough.

The voters didn’t turn out in force. The turnout was down forty odd percent. Apathy was the only winner here.
