Even if he was free, we couldn't afford his salary.

Swansea need to go for the player earlier in his development stage. When Ivan Toney left Newcastle not after he did well at Peterborough and his price went to £5m. Potter was given £7m to spend and blew it.

As I was explaining Wihittaker is at this stage, Swansea got in before he got seriously good. Wood, Joseph, Darling are all hopefully ready to kick on.

not for me either, i just hope the owners are able/ want to back the coaching team and for me its a GOOD right wing back and that leeds youngster fits the bill for me, did well at Cardiff and as long as we keep the squad we have and hopefully have Joe back fully fit add at least the wing back we may, just may kick on , well thats what i am hoping for
