Can we please stop pretending that every player who Martin mishandled had attitude problems? Whittaker tore it up at Plymouth under Schumacher. All of a sudden he comes back here and struggles because he's got a bit of a cob on?
Martin had absolutely no interest in using him. It was obvious what would happen when he came back from loan. A couple of games grudgingly given, probably out of position, then a swift dumping to the bench. Exactly how it turned out.
There will be plenty of clubs sniffing around Whittaker and rightly so. I'd expect him to go elsewhere and do well. |  |

If a club comes in and offers a 7 figure number, he'll be sold I reckon, 2 to 3 mill and he's gone, if there's a bidding war it could be a larger fee to be had. |  |

These clubs are not exactly minor league and no fools so it begs the question or should do as to why Martin effectively shafted him.
As for super playmaker Grimes,the frenzy seems less although if he follows his leader to Soton,he could really come @ cropper as he won’t have the unfettered chances he had with us.
Nobody seems interested in Fishy which is our key issue,or should be . It’s @ position we have to strengthen .Having Sid that, a new coach will no doubt end the suicide passing at the b@ck . | |

I think it’s been said before, he had no chance of shifting Piroe, Cullen when he came in had a better scoring record than Whittaker at Plymouth. And as for Whittaker he has developed enough for clubs to take an interest. A decent two plus million profit on him. Easy money. | |
