I have been thinking again in my wooden cabin above Resolven. All theory and speculation for your consideration.
What is the ideal scenario for Swansea and Piroe ?
--Scenario A This is a £20m up front bid for the Dutchman from a Premier league team with a striker vacancy. Everton perhaps? Fulham or Bournemouth. The player agent gets a cut.
When could this happen?
-Any time up until the window closing.
What is the next best option?
- Scario B. Piroe signing a new two year deal.
How would a top notch project manager deal with this? He would use a flow chart to cover any event. Scenario A Y/N If yes proceed. If N go to Scenario B.
So where are we? We are waiting to see what happens.
Does it fit the current speculation? Yes it does. Piroe has possibly agreed to a new deal if no better deal comes in before the closure of the window. Swansea will not announce any deal because they do not want to chase away buyers with £15-£20m to burn.
In a world of reasonable people a mutually beneficial solution can always been found. Piroe's good form has created a lot of financial wriggle room. He deserves his cut.

Makes no difference IF Swansea don't want to announce IF there is a deal when the window closes.

I’d say all his contract / transfer speculation is badly affecting his current form. He was a waste of a shirt Saturday, and not too clever against WBA.

If Swansea announce a deal other teams will not make an offer. This is why the deal is agreed but not activated. Swansea and Piroe want a big offer. It does make a difference.
At the moment there are rumours of a deal but no announcement. Anyone who expects an announcement before the window closes are probably whistling in the wind.
