Time up for Joe Allen at Swansea City ? 29th Sep 2023 08:00
Joe Allen is now thirty three years of age. We don’t need to recall his past glories as a professional footballer, we know full well there are many. What we should be dwelling on now is who is Joe Allen today, and what indeed has he left in him as a professional footballer ? 2

Good article which people must reflect on .
When one ages, injuries at sport increase as the strain tells on the body.
Basic human physiology.
We wanted Joe to be a success on his return but sadly time has caught him.
Great modern player and human being
I believe now is the time for him.

I feel he should finish as a player by mutual consent and maybe be brought on board to the backroom staff ( assuming he wants to )
It was the transfer we all wanted to see happen but sadly ( like Bony second transfer and to a certain extend A. Ayew second transfer ) has not paid off.
I for one do not blame him or the club.
We all hoped he would be the catalyst to better things but sadly not to be.
Thanks for the memories Joe and like Curt and LT10 will I feel be a part of this club for years to come

I think when finished at Stoke.
If we hadn't come in for him he may well have retired.
