So much so, he gave away a few things which on the face are not too surprising, but one area on his knowledge of funds available was indeed concerning. 0 Not clear, click above.

If he doesn’t, I can’t see funds being available. If he does, and no funds become available, the yanks will have a riot on their hands. [Post edited 4 Nov 2023 8:20]

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

That's a fair assessment.

What I am concerned about is lowe is playing well therefore bmuff will probably sell him as he's in the last year of his contract but we probably won't be able to afford him so that's another attacking player we need.

That’s an area we can have dialogue as a club.

If you were in the last year of your contract and your club basically said they didn't want you and shoved you out on loan, would you accept a transfer or run your contract down. Personally I would run my contract down and have my agent to ask Swansea now if they are prepared to offer something at the end of the season, this then would give my agent to work with. I wouldn't accept a transfer.

If he came out and say there was loads to spend other clubs would up the ante. Surely it's a given that Watson is working on things. Duff has said he wants to strengthen "uo top"and this division is still wide open, everybody is beating everybody with the exception of Leicester and they aren't unbeatable. It doesnt take much of a run right now and anybody could be in a position to challenge the play offs. We are quite hit or miss, we have a lot of injuries but we are still doing ok. I think there's more to be optimistic about right now than pessimistic.

Then they recall him Swansea style ala Morgan Whittaker.

Why? If he tells them he won't accept a move and will run hs deal down, recalling him only costs them money. If he says he wants to stay here they'd be better of just leaving him. How we handled the Whittaker situation was a complete cock up. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I would hope that watson is all over this, lowe has been getting better week by week and he was brilliant last week, he is key to our play off push.

You can bet on Bournemouth wanting more than we'd be prepare to pay or afford to pay for that matter, IMO There's allways an exception though I suppose, but if they want upwards of a mil or more for a player with what 6 months left on his contract, then I'd be surprised to see us paying that.

It’s no different in reverse. Plus we are not paying his full wage. I’m not saying it will happen but if Bournemouth get snotty they could easily do it. Of course that is if there is a recall clause.

Unless wood comes back from injury, plays well and soton come in for him, then we will be able to get lowe permanently.

I can't see us paying with 6 months left on his contract unless it's cheap. We wouldn't pay Rotherham last season
| Michael Duff responds to the January transfer window … ? on 14:19 - Nov 4 with 837 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Lowe is running down his deal and AFCB will not give him a new deal. AFCB are not short of income. The issue will not be the transfer fee buy Lowe's wages. Lowe is playing i his heart out for a new deal and would in my opinion be open to a compromise. The fact that AFCB let him o go on loan with 1 year on he is deal suggest they are not expecting much of a fee. Swnseasold him cheap in the first place with years on g his dealMartin wanted passers not runners. Precision not pace. | |

When he has only 6 months left on his contract he can deal with us direct. Bournemouth cannot force him to accept a transfer, they can recall him but if he wants to be here all they are doing is making the same cock up we made with Whittaker. He could still run his contract down and walk away but they'd have to ay his full wages then too. I think they sent him on loan knowing they wouldn't see him again, his deal would run down and he'd walk. I thnk they didn't think they'd get a price for him so sent him on loan to save money. I think a transfer was unlikely because of his wages there though I can't be sure. If we can't afford his full wage and nobody else really wanted him, what could Bournemouth do? Maybe they just made a pragmatic choice?

The options are very well known, it’s the human side and how they react to things which conspires against the black and white image often presented or believed.

Ah, well as I often say, humans are stupid. I think the evidence is overwhelming!
