We definitely need a striker as Yates can't do it by himself.
What I am concerned about is lowe is playing well therefore bmuff will probably sell him as he's in the last year of his contract but we probably won't be able to afford him so that's another attacking player we need. |  | | |

If you were in the last year of your contract and your club basically said they didn't want you and shoved you out on loan, would you accept a transfer or run your contract down. Personally I would run my contract down and have my agent to ask Swansea now if they are prepared to offer something at the end of the season, this then would give my agent to work with. Personally I'm happy Duff has given the impression there may be no money. If he came out and say there was loads to spend other clubs would up the ante.
Surely it's a given that Watson is working on things. Duff has said he wants to strengthen "uo top"and this division is still wide open, everybody is beating everybody with the exception of Leicester and they aren't unbeatable. It doesnt take much of a run right now and anybody could be in a position to challenge the play offs.
We are quite hit or miss, we have a lot of injuries but we are still doing ok. I think there's more to be optimistic about right now than pessimistic. | | | |

Personally I would run my contract down and have my agent to ask Swansea now if they are prepared to offer something at the end of the season, this then would give my agent to work with. Lowe is running down his deal and AFCB will not give him a new deal. AFCB are not short of income. The issue will not be the transfer fee buy Lowe's wages.
Lowe is playing i his heart out for a new deal and would in my opinion be open to a compromise. The fact that AFCB let him o go on loan with 1 year on he is deal suggest they are not expecting much of a fee. Bournemouth cannot force him to accept a transfer, they can recall him but if he wants to be here all they are doing is making the same cock up we made with Whittaker. He could still run his contract down and walk away but they'd have to ay his full wages then too.
I think they sent him on loan knowing they wouldn't see him again, his deal would run down and he'd walk. I thnk they didn't think they'd get a price for him so sent him on loan to save money. I think a transfer was unlikely because of his wages there though I can't be sure. If we can't afford his full wage and nobody else really wanted him, what could Bournemouth do?
