Starmer has made a fool of himself yet again, joining forces with the Conservative party leader and Tommy Robinson in condemning the body that made the decision to ban Maccabi fans from Villa park which apparently included representatives of the police, the council, the fire service, the ambulance service etc on the back of the unfair criticism there has been accusations of antisemitism - its a game these people play, labelling any valid criticism of Israel or in this case Israeli fans as antisemitism.
I see people speculating that there was a likely word in the ear of Birmingham officials by high office in the UK to drop the ban in the coming days and now the same people will be having another word in their ear to say everything has changed again and can you keep the ban. | |

Just read on another football forum BBC not reporting it ,(at the moment, they will have to report it soon) the biasness of the BBC towards showing Israel in a good light is shocking, when a negative story appears they either don't report it, or give it a low billing, or try and play it down.
Because of the involvement of the Prime Minister and front page news the last few days this latest development should also be news headlines but its not (as of yet, till they can figure out how to spin it). [Post edited 19 Oct 23:51]

It looks like an excellent decision by the Birmingham police I draw your attention to the Birmingham police also cancelling the annual St Po sticks day parade a few months back. ( For public order reasons again).
Remember Birmingham have no money and went £100 m over budget and cannot come to an agreement with the recycling department leading to non collective on rubbish. As far as I know.
