The owner that the same FL applying the punishment beating decided was "fit and proper" in the first place. It's getting disproportionate now.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Totally unfair on the supporters, every club is only one bad owner from a catastrophe.

At this point, definitely. The sins of previous owners shouldn't be used to punish new ones. If Wednesday come under new ownership the slate should, within reason, be wiped clean IMO. Certainly any debts owed to the people who got them into this mess in the first place shouldn't be a consideration.

Not sure I agree with this. We have all seen businesses in the past shafting creditors and starting afresh. The club got an unfair advantage under one owner. Why should they continue to benefit from cheating under new owners.? The new owners probably bought out the club at a discount taking into account potential penalties.

The EFL have been telling prospective buyers about next seasons 15 point deduction so they are aware before when/if they purchase. The club currently has not been bought, so there has been no discount. There is a preferred bidder [an American private equity fund] but thry are only offering 6p in the £1 to the creditors. Most of the debt is with the previous owner and he is not prepared to restructure or write down the debt. Its very complicated.
