I'm absolutely convinced and been saying it for years - our matches are alternated with Cardiff for Policing purposes and its probably nothing more than C coming before S in the alphabet that's why they are always home and we are away first game of the season.
You won't convince me otherwise.

Yes league cup home games are a big bonus.
Lately the draws have been quite kind to us.

I would prefer the season to start with a Championship match and the League Cup game midweek, it gives us an opportunity to give some youngsters and the back up keeper a run out. Playing the Cup game on the weekend before the season starts I can see it being the final preparation match for the season with the full first team playing.

now try and tell me the fixtures are not deliberately thrown together to get more TV airtime etc.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth. The caller out of bullshit since that letter to Paul Clement made planetswans famous. For a while.
