Chris Gunter has named his Cymru squad for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship finals, which will be held in north Wales this summer between 28 June and 11 July.
Gunter has selected a 20-player squad to represent Cymru at the tournament, marking the nation’s fourth appearance at a men’s intermediate age group finals.
Arsenal defender Brayden Clarke becomes the first Cymru player to be selected for three UEFA youth EURO finals tournaments, having previously featured in the U17 EURO finals in Hungary and Cyprus in 2023 and 2024.
Oliver Bostock and Jayden Lienou, who were both involved in Craig Bellamy’s senior squad in June, have also been selected. They are joined by Robert Tankiewicz, who recently signed his first professional contract with Cardiff City.
Norwich City’s Elliot Myles and Brighton & Hove Albion’s Adam Brett are also included after receiving their first Cymru U21 call-ups in March. Everton duo Shea Pita and Luis Gardner have earned places in the squad, along with Manchester United forward Louie Bradbury, who scored his first U19 international goal on his debut against Sweden earlier this month.
Drawn in Group A, Cymru will begin their campaign against nine-time champions Spain at the Racecourse Ground on Sunday, 28 June (6pm).
They will then face former champions Germany at the Racecourse Ground on Wednesday, 1 July (8pm), before concluding the group stage against Denmark at the same venue on Saturday, 4 July (2pm).

Harlan Perry and Milo Robinson of Swansea are unlucky to miss out. Robinson is reported to be injured.
Ronan Kiakpo Cardiff was not included as part of the First team presumably. Prospects called Josh Gentles (Rangers) and Will Grainger (Sheff Wed) are also injured.
If Gunter does well you know what happen next. They have to play top sides.

One callup is pitiful
As i said Harlan Perry and Milo Roberson were not picked. Thomas Searle Callum Deacon, Rees Siso, Callum Jones, Morgan Bates play sometimes in the u21 but not picked. Carter Heywood featured in the U21 and plays for Wales u 18.
Some Of the u19 Wales team already have first team experience at least on the bench. Leinou (Leeds), Grainger ( Shefc Weds) Myles (Norwich) Cruz Allen ( Derby) Bostok (WBA) . These are the younger players of the Wales y17 group which qualified twice and featured Dylan Lawler, Ronan Kiapkpo and Iwan Morgan the Swansea striker who went to Brentford. Kiapkpo is still eligible.
Margetson Woodward and Jacob Cook are slightly too old. Must be born after 1 Jan 2007.
Swansea were a bit light in this age group and perhaps too young at 17.
The last two game i watched on TV were Wales u19 v Denmark and England national team v Mexico.
Superstars Harry and Real Madrid and Bellingham were putting in in the mixer an Bellingham scored two one a thumping header and the a crisp finish from a knock down. Haarland another exceptional talent another thumping header earlier in the day
Wales u19 had a philosophy that it was too risky to put the ball in the box. Bellamy ball is out of date and Wales have a huge number 9. Use what we have and find a style suited to Wales.
