Went there last summer on a hot evening, really busy tidy food but the place was ridiculously hot clearly anywhere but the doorway which they refused to leave open.
Best place for steak is my house but I don't do fish |  |

Ala carte overpriced with awful service - regularly they add things to the bill and herd you in and out like cattle. Lunchtime menu is good value though | |

La Parilla is lovely if you can get in for the lunchtime two meals for a tenner offer. Don't go outside of that though, it's legalised theft. |  |

Me and the missus went the Grill house in Waunarlwydd yesterday.
I ordered the 20 oz Tomahawk rib eye steak, which was aptly named, as you needed a f*cking Tomahawk to cut it, it came with a portion of below average chips, peas and a raw half of tomato .
Very disappointed to be honest, but a least I took solace that the animal the steak came from had had a long life, as it must have died of old age,
To be fair my wife had fillet of sea bass, and chocolate fudge and cream for dessert, which she said was very nice, and the serving staff were very pleasant.
All in all it was very disappointing, so can't see me going back there, although I'm sure if my dog could speak, he would say the opposite, as he really enjoyed the large portion of rib eye much more than I. | |
