The show will no longer air on Swansea Sound per Claire Pearson.

I know a lot of posters here thought some of the show's content/callers were goofy and hard to listen to; but for Jacks abroad, it was a nice outlet for live Swans talk every Friday. For us, it will be missed.

No real explanation, here was her announcement:

I know many of you have been asking about the return of ‪#‎STiD‬. Sadly, I have to report that the show won't be back on Swansea Sound this season. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's been involved with the show over the past four years - Ben Charles Mark Anthony Matt Barroccu Chris Carra Jordan Best Liam Jones Mark Powell Julian Price Steven Carroll. It's been a real privilege, honour and delight to host such an amazing show with such a loyal fan base, here and in the US.
But the show goes on and myself, Ben and Mark are still very much here to discuss the ups and downs of Swansea City and the Premier League.
Please keep in touch ‪#‎TogetherStronger‬

I can only venture to guess that it wasn't pulling good numbers.

I would imagine that STiD was the only show on Swansea Sound that got much of a worldwide streaming audience. But I suppose that doesn't mean much to advertisers.

The show reminded me of hospital radio.
How ironic... When we were in the lower divisions you'd have Anthony O'Connell doing a decent job on STID and we had the daily show from Real Radio.
Now... 6 years Premier league... Nothing.

It's just the internet, init.

It was a crap programme but it was our crap programme bit like the vetch it was ridiculed by many but it was our place and we loved it warts and all

For a lot of people who don't read forums it was where they got information on the goings on at the club.

Rip STID

We are the first Welsh club to reach the Premier League Simples

That does seem backward, but I suspect the truth is people don't need to tune into a weekly or nightly show for their news anymore, it's at the tips of their fingers within seconds

One of the problems with that show was they and the callers main topic was discussing the previous game which more often than not, happened 6 days earlier.
The show would have been much better at 6pm on Saturday night.

It's just the internet, init.
