Note this Wayne.

No evidence to suggest we benefit as a club with this action.

Maybe,it's my contempt for the legal system and the venal, greedy leeches that dress up more than the Craft hierachy, having a lucrative ball before a decision is made by the Grandmaster.

Be careful what you dream of,it may come up and surprise you.

Not necessarily, a rainy day fund is crucial as we don't know what is around the corner.

Are you still saying you don't understand the long term benefit of the future of the club from this legal action?

No. Think I have made my point,if it is read thoroughly.

You two guys are good posters .i don't agree with all you say.

I am merely concerned about ANY time in our Courts .

Sorry, but I am not going to comment further as is obvious I am yet again being trolled on my every word.

Tell you what, why not ask the mods to sort this out .

This is another serious discussion being fecked up.

Get me drift?

Not sure if that was aimed at me due to the lack of quoting, but it was a pretty simple question. Let me try and pinpoint it a bit better.

Do you think the benefits of a potential rainy day fund of £20m in the coffers of the Trust outweigh any perceived negative short term effect (whatever that may be, if any), and what negative impacts are you concerned about given this whole issue has been in the public domain for around 3 years already?

You make a compelling argument and I sincerely appreciate i,although I know everything I post is being mullered.

What concerns me.

1. Losing the action and

2. Being subjected to revenge by the owners who could really fook us up. 20 m won't be enough.

We will see. Please Mods,do something about this. Pm me and explain why you won't

If the action is lost then the status quo exists. Much like if the action isn't taken.

What revenge do you perceive the owners would, or could take?

I mean, I don't agree with him, but it's a perfectly valid view. I doubt he's alone in it. Even if he's wrong.

I think it means the Trust winning, yanks losing?

If so, it depends on the judge but if the Americans had to stump up £20m extra and in return get full ownership, it could be argued that they could look to get their money back through dividends or other means I suppose.

But the missing piece is why on earth they would want to drain and cripple something they fully owned if there remains a chance of PL success when they might get more that their full investment back if they could flip (it is an investment for them nothing else). So it could also be argued that it even more aligns their interests with the team’s success.

Who knows. The Trust is still absolutely right to take this action though.
