One you might not have heard. I can imagine Gordon Lightfoot singing this.

I was listening to Gordon Lightfoot singing Edmund Fitzgerald in the line at Asda day before yesterday. Just saying like.

Early Billy Joel was excellent. My favourites from that era are "Summer, Highland Falls", "Cold Spring Harbor" and "Captain Jack". He's great value live too.

"M'sieur, you said your dog did not bite!" "That's not my dog"

Anyone that likes Summer Highland Falls and Captain Jack is a friend for life. Seen him going on 50 times and still never heard either 'live'. I shouted out CJ in Dublin, he wasn't too pleased.

Love this song, Piano Man album was in my car for years until my wife managed to damage it. She never replaced it.

Maybe she doesn't like Billy, I think she prefers Buble.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I lost mine so bought it on music magpie for £1.99 about a month ago. Some cracking bargains on there, postage included.

Not sure if I posted this before, it's about the record producer Phil Ramone. Worth a read. There's a good video interview with Billy about him as well. Even if you don't like the artist I still think it's interesting.

But it eats your data if you have it on high quality and you have to pay for it monthly. It's a bit like Denplan.

True but it's £15 per month and you can have 6 devices linked to one subscription. Unlimited data plans on many mobile phones are easy to obtain and cheap.

Went to see Gordon Lightfoot in the Colston Hall in Bristol on a Sunday evening a couple of years ago. Outstanding concert (sold out) and he had played the Albert Hall (sold out) the night before. He announced that it was the last concert of the tour and he would not be touring in the UK again due to his age, he was 78 then. Don't think anyone really knew that this was the last date of the tour but I think that we all felt that it was a privilege to have been there.

He did say that he would come back to the UK as a tourist mind!
