Surely Cooper deserves praise for the development in Guehi's game since joining on loan. He was absolute dross in his first few matches but he stepped up on Saturday. Still only 19 he’s looked nervous as anyone would be making their debut. Played a bit for England at under 21 level he’s got talent and fight as he showed against Sheff Weds when he also looked calmer and more relaxed especially in possession.
And yes Cooper has done well to get these lads in. Add Brewster Woodman and Gallagher to the list of key loan signings. | |

I’m thankful for what Leon did on the pitch, but even when he speaks it’s clear teaching someone properly, knowing about how they learn and nurturing development is clearly not something he can do. |  |
