Seems to be so many failings on this. This cowardly pair and their associates were supposedly on the watch list and known to the anti terrorist authorities but could still easily order a load of sulphuric acid and a load of other bomb making paraphernalia on Amazon, or walk into a shop and casually buy thousands of bolts and nails. They were out in Libya fighting with a known terrorist group for years yet were still collecting thousands of pounds in benefits and tax credits. They were driving their materials around in uninsured cars despite not having driving licences. The email address they used to order the bomb stuff literally translated as “we are here to slaughter”.
