| The Green party 11:48 - Apr 15 with 1791 views | Catullus | What is the point of these people? What do they really stand for? I know they say they're GREEN but what does it really mean? I had an election leaflet from them through the door today, it doesn't mention anything about their policies or what they want to do, all it says basically vote for them to stop the tories getting into the Senedd. Now I know I'm not the brightest but that kind of approach won't have me voting for them, in fact it's the kind of negative nonsense that'll push me towards the tories. It's Brexit all over again, no truth, no facts just a scare story. Green party, give me reasons why I should vote for you or just go away! | |

| The Green party on 11:58 - Apr 15 with 1458 views | Scotia | I was actually considering voting Green. I received a leaflet, it basically said a vote for Labour in the regional section is wasted. Stop the Tories gaining seats so vote for us. Oh, and independence. Do we actually have a choice in Wales? I mean a real choice, we are going to hand over more powers to these complete set of clowns. There is no stopping it. | | | |

Why abysmal? Significantly more honest and capable than the current crop controlling us from Greater England.

| The Green party on 13:31 - Apr 15 with 1395 views | trampie | A vote for Labour is a vote for the Tories, Labour supporters in Neath, Swansea, Port Talbot should vote Plaid on the regional list to stop the Cons or Abolish getting in, a vote for Labour on the list is a potential even likely vote for the Conservatives. | |

If they hadn't printed them in the first place that would have been Green.

I'm going to be serious here. I will not vote Labour because I believe we have not moved forward in the last 20 years in Wales and the Senedd is currently not fit for purpose. The Conservatives in Wales do not inspire me and do not particularly want to vote for them, but I will if it stops Labour getting in again. Give me the reasons to vote Plaid, without the normal crap you post, just sensible reasons.

Drakeford was a lecturer at the University College of Swansea , now Swansea University for quite a few years.

Obviously not , watching his 30 minute slot on the TV earlier this week when he stated he was dead against an independent Wales showed to me he's more than happy with the current status quo , whereas a lot of voters are not , which he'll find to his and Labours cost next month

Seems like he is pro devolution and not full independence, if he was for full independence I would guess he would be in Plaid.

Capable? Is that why they want to increase their number by a third to help with the workload? They can't even manage the limited responsibilities they currently have. Schools and the NHS, both worse than England. There's much more that's worse too. The choices we have in Wales are dreadful and when a party is hoping to win votes with the message "to stop the tories" it tells you a lot. It tells you they are worried to start with. It also tells you they are playing on the deeply ingrained anti Tory feeling with no ambition to prove themselves good enough and just relying on fear to win votes. It's hardly ambitious or forward thinking, could it be much more negative.

| The Green party on 19:52 - Apr 15 with 1150 views | Dr_Winston | The Greens are mostly far left SWP types who have worked out that the colour Red and general anti-Semitism are a bit of a vote loser so are trying something new. There's not an awful lot of difference between their policies. | |

Its because it appeals Cat. A cursory look at this site will tell you all you need to know about south Wales and the Tories. It matters not what they do;good or bad. Always the enemy. Even a truly "working class" Hartlepool has woken up. Labour does not represent the "workers " anymore than any other party. They do make a living out of saying they do however

Seems Drakeford is pro devolution, pro more powers and anti independence. He is currently on nearly £150,000 a year plus expenses. No doubt he also has a huge public sector pension having worked as a highly paid university lecturer. No doubt he is another millionaire socialists.
