I spent quite a bit of time in Bradford, 15/16 years back. I was told then some parts of it were vitual no go areas for non Mulsims, white people and even the police would only go there mob handed. You could drive through there in the day but after dark even driving through wasn't safe.
It was a real culture shock for me. I'd seen nothing that bad in Wales or on my holidays either. | |

I know Bradford also quite well.A once great historic city now a rather forlorn place although there has been some regeneration.
Some lovely little town to the north and beautiful countryside.
