He’s got to leave 3 out & I guess he rates Cabango lower than the other CBs plus we appear to have shifted to a back 4 vs our more usual 3.
That said & whilst he is doing a decent job so far I think it’s a short sighted call, particularly with 2 of the other CBs on yellows plus Cabango offers something in the opposition box at set pieces.
One bonus is it keeps him off the radar a tad & hopefully sets him up for a big season next year. | | | |

He has only just turned 21. He had a good test v Mexico and came out with flying colours after a difficult start. Page already has a few youngsters in the squad and went for Gunter's experience. 1-0 defeat was always going to be enough even in 3rd place. You cannot argue job done.
Page is well covered a CB with Mepham, Rodon, Lockyear, Ampadu, Cabango and Brandon Cooper coming through. Replacements are needed for Allen Bale and Ramsey. Page has blooded Morrell / Levitt, Wilson and Brooks. Brooks is the real deal and has looked very sharp to me. |  |

Brennan Johnson had a good season in League One, he'll be one to step up when the old guard are done.
Longer term Oli Ewing looks a good prospect as a Joe Allen replacement. There's also Robbie Burton at Dinamo Zagreb, but he hasn't kicked on quite as hoped. | | | |
