| British Lions v South Africa A : Matchday Thread 23:46 - Jul 13 with 898 views | KeithHaynes | The fourth match of the British & Irish Lions tour in South Africa against a Springboks 'A' side at Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town. This will be the toughest game so far by a very long way, don’t expect a landslide. It is the fourth of five warm-up games in South Africa before the three-Test series against the Springboks - and the second midweek fixture - and has extra importance for head coach Warren Gatland given that the SA tour has been shortened by two games from the one in New Zealand in 2017. When is it? Wednesday, July 14. What time is kick-off? 7pm. What TV channel is it on? Live coverage is on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Rugby. It has also been announced that highlights of all three Tests against South Africa will be on Channel 4, while All4 will show highlights of ALL the Lions Tour matches. Lions Tour 2021 full fixtures Here's the latest schedule, all BST: Saturday, June 26: Lions 28 Japan 10 Saturday, July 3: Lions 56 Sigma Lions 14 Wednesday, July 7: Lions 54 Sharks 7 Saturday, July 10: Lions 71 Sharks 31 Wednesday, July 14 v South Africa 'A'... And Erasmus desperate for there to be a repeat this Saturday so desperate are the Bokke for practice. They reckon Georgia brought them the virus when they player on July 2nd. Tough or what. Just wish AWJ is tempted to get smashed so early after that injury | |

Good luck Josh! Biggar injured too. I just don't like Farrell, arrogant chu....it's not because he's Englsih, honest.

The defence these Boks are putting up is quite awesome. Mind you, they have also done some pretty fine, should I call it cheating? Blocking runs, taking their time getting out of rucks, DeKlerks shoulder charge (as Nigel Owens saw it) they are good at the rugby dark arts.

Bollox, good game management by the Safies, Curry outstanding for Lions and Beard when he came on Itoje got better as game went on, particularly after Beard came on, South Africa were like Rottweilers in loose and at the rucks, De Klerk is a nuisance and probably lucky to stay on after slamming into Navidi's face with his head, he knew what he was doing. My bollox comment was regarding us losing not your post Cat, just read it back and realised Ooops ah daisy. [Post edited 14 Jul 2021 21:10]

Like Rottweilers in that first half De Klerk is a pest, would have loved to have seen him and Mike Phillips squaring off, pity Mike's days have come and gone, he was a one off I think. [Post edited 15 Jul 2021 16:23]

Gorgeous George -that was Mike. Not as hard as he thought though. De Klerk is a tough little farker but according to my sources at ale, quite a decent chap off the pitch. A terrific player;if he wasnt ,we wouldnt be talking about him
