Testing figures are broadly the same I think.
There was a spike following the football but it's dropping now. Vaccinations seem to have minimised serious illness, so it's looking good.

I’ve never known so few to hate so many school teachers. |
Perhaps these few, once they have had the checks to ensure they are not a nonce, should volunteer to help out in schools and hospitals. Support for literacy and numeracy amongst SENCO groups is a particular need. Or they could try online teaching of 30 kids on Google Classroom.
Anyway figure is down again-Good
% of tests positive is unchanged. Not so good if testing is dropping off, unless testing is dropping off as fewer people are getting symptoms
Hospitalisation is still going up- bad
Rate of hospitalisation is slowing down- good
If fewer people are getting sick meaning fewer tests then that's very positive, if the numbers are going down as people are not get tested but are infected then it's not great,

Actually little effect the number of daily test is still the same level just the % of positive tests had fallen particularly in Scotland and NI. | |

It’s a strange stance.
I wasn’t over enthused by one of my kids’ school’s performance but I aware of the challenge they faced - I would never call them scummy or peddle hate towards them though. As it happens my other kids school were pretty good. It’s a case by case experience. | |
