Top class cricket seems over crowded with fixtures, there seems to be a game almost everyday of the year. The issue with the Ashes indicates that there is too much going on, but money talks and players don't like to miss out on big pay days at the IPL etc. |  |

Agree 100%, these lads got young families, must be a hell of a strain being away from them, I know they often go with them, but even then its a strain dragging them all round the World, didn't Stokes lose a close relative a little while ago, murdered I think.? [Post edited 30 Jul 2021 18:30]

Yes, a relative was murdered and then his father passed away late last year with brain cancer after a period of illness. The man has two young kids and with the Covid 'bubbles' it can't be easy. I wish him all the best |  | | |
