Covid passes for Sunday for under 18’s 12:54 - Oct 15 with 1342 viewsKeithHaynes

The club have kindly contacted me to reinforce that NO passes or certification are needed for under 18’s on Sunday 👍

I called them earlier and they confirmed the same.

Could have saved themselves the bother if they had t stated ‘all ticket holders’ in today’s statement.

Is a supporter aged 17 years and 364 days less likely to spread Covid-19 than a supporter aged 18 years and 0 days?

Some 18 years and 0 days on Saturday should have been on the piss from midnight enjoying first official pints/ shots / cocktails, and partied through to midday to rock up the Liberty to see the Swans win 2-0.

If he was 17 years and 364 days he would watch strictly , news , Match of the day and in bed by midnight.

So yep, the 18 year old also danced in a packed club and had a one night stand with a covid ravaged stranger.

I rest my case 😁

Saw a news report earlier this week on the Covid pass and Wales v New Zealand. It said that it has been agreed between the WRU and WAG that as there will be 70k in attendance only random checks would be made for a Covid Pass as it would be impossible to check every one of 70k!

One rule for one......

Drakeford has excelled with this one. How about the other half dozen or more home fixtures we’ve already attended? Besides the point that if anyones going to spread it it will be double vaccinated showing no symptoms or just mild symptoms. If every single person going to the ground had to produce a negative lateral flow test result we’d all be a lot safer and reassured.

A lot safer. Ok, how do you answer the fact that people you are unvaccinated get seriously and more likely to die than those vaccinated then.

You haven't thought that one through Brynnie.

Now listen here - the point of the whole exercise is to limit the transmission of Covid 19 (so we are told).

The unvaccinated - yep like me - have taken lateral flow tests to prove we’re free from infection.

The vaccinated have taken no such test - although the are JUST AS CAPABLE of contracting, suffering from and PASSING ON Covid 19 to each other , quite likely asymptomatically or perhaps believing their suffering from cold or flu.

A lateral flow test for those DRASTICALLY reduces the risk for EVERYONE. That has been willfully ignored by the Welsh “Government” and their “follow the science” mantra.

Got it?

I’ve thought this through pretty well Max.

LFT's are not worth a the box they're packed in, Girl in work with Mrs was test was clear according to LFT but wasn't convinced as she felt ill and yes you guessed it.

Got it.?

You need another think, you are just as likely to be asymptomatic as a vaccinated person.

Yet another girl in work [I know what you thinking that's a canny coincidence and convenient]] with Mrs got ill along with her husband who was dead against vaccination, both ended up in hospital, she's home Husband is still in hospital not in danger but poorly, you know where my Mrs works so it could have catastrophic for the school, plus for us if Mrs had caught it and brought it home to my youngest, got to look at the bigger picture and not just yourself.

Double vaxed. Have the paper proof, wont trust the phone one in case battery goes/ shite signal at ground.

I will be there an hour before kick off to avoid problems. If they are selling cider at the ground I may show my support.

If LFT’s aren’t worth “the box they’re packed in” why force anyone to take them??

I don’t think that way. They are more likely to give a false positive than a false negative and that’s ok in my eyes. Better safe than sorry.

You are clearly NOT reading what I wrote - I’m asymptomatic because I did the test and it came out negative. Im asymptomatic because I don’t have it!

How the hell can the same be said for those double or even triple vaccinated who don’t even have to participate in an LFT?

If a double vaccinated person does the LFT and tests positive they at least know and won’t go to the game to spread it to all and sundry. That’s the correct angle for public health and safety .

Fair point that Brynnie, even though I hate to agree with you, as you know, I agree everyone should provide a test result. vaccinated or not, its the only way to be at least 99,9 % certain, I'm not going tomorrow because of the possible risk, moreso the pub before the game, bit gutted tbh, but safety first with the lad.

Well for you in particular Max - you have a vulnerable child who you’re doing your utmost to protect. It’s the vulnerable who we should all be thinking of, whether we be vaccinated or otherwise.

You are talking absolute horse manure. It's PCRs that have recently been shown to be consistently unreliable. Not LFTs. Bryn is correct. If Drakeford was serious (and not just another corrupt politician). then he'd enforce showing negative LFTs, not worry about vax passports that prove nothing at all about Co vid status and therefore safety.

LFTs as people in the know said all along, are far more reliable.

Don't think any of the tests are totally 100% they're making it up as they go along much like they've done with a lot of things throughout this pandemic.
I know for a fact that some people have had false results from LFT's, could be human error on their part when doing the tests or they are genuinely false, I expect its both.
PCR's are supposed to be 100% but obviously not in some of the cases.
