No he isn’t. He may be guilty of being a complete and utter useless bell end. He is definitely guilty of constantly acting like an irresponsible toddler. But you can’t blame him or anyone for a global pathogen. People die of disease, they always have. It’s just life.
| Priming for winter lockdown on 15:01 - Oct 22 with 1358 views | whiterock | He needs to be swifter with his actions, this wait and see policy is bolox, if we are to have lockdown 3 lets have 2 weeks on, two weeks off, it'll flatten the curve just about the same but at least we'll see Christmas | | | |

As the man in charge, where does the buck stop. He is liable in my book. However a British Pm isn't going to be charged with any offence.

Shirley you agree with me Jim…? The definition of manslaughter is mighty close to whats happened. Listen to Cummings, why is the UK currently worse that the rest of western Europe put together ? Its not luck, its the political decisions made. Which was the worst ‘Eat out to help out’, or ‘Freedom Day’….? Both total disasters. Bolsonaro of Brazil is facing potential murder charges. Accountability.

Nonsense. Edward III was in charge when the Black Death arrived but he wasn’t liable for that either.

Did he listen to the science, but still pursue herd immunity by stealth. Did he get worse results than the rest of Europe put together ? Did a report by his own MPs call it the nations biggest public health failure ? If so , then yes he also should have been in court for manslaughter.

They did pretty much what we do today. Social distancing, isolation. Obviously it didn’t work then as the plague isn’t contagious or doesn’t often pass from person to person like COVID does. They did other mad stuff with pigeons too though. Did you know the word “quarantine” is a direct result of the Black Death? It translates as “forty days” which is how long ships had to isolate before coming ashore. So not much has changed really. The people in power are still utterly clueless and as usual it’s the everyday folk that suffers.

So no one takes personal responsibility for their own actions anymore ?

The truth is a person could lock themselves away for months and months and months and then catch it on day 1 of finally leaving the house. Plus people might become more vulnerable to the everyday bugs that they would have normally be exposed to. Add in the psychological, social and financial damage caused to millions and it could easily argued that endless lockdowns have ruined far more lives than they have saved.
| Priming for winter lockdown on 22:23 - Oct 22 with 1128 views | Jack123 | Looking very likely locked down again, the way the media are trying to get people accustomed to it. They don't change their record, very easy to spot. | |

Those who get tested are only those who have symptoms and come forward to do so. that's always been the case

From what I believe , the main upsurge in cases is down to children getting tested for school.

It’s rife in schools and I believe that’s probably the main reasons we are where we are now. It’s spreading among the kids who then take it home to their families.

yes, and we were told by the so called experts that this wouldn't happen. Someone will be along soon to deny this.
