Star?

Sent to us by football insider for clarification, their use of words. We chose not to go with the story.

MK Dons, Lincoln, Fleetwood and Cheltenham in race to sign Swansea star Cullen

The Welshman signed a new contract at the Liberty Stadium in January to extend his stay until 2024.

The striker has made 10 league appearances for Swansea City this season but is yet to score.

Cullen made his senior debut in August 2018 but had to wait until last season for his league bow.

The Wales under-21 international scored his first goal in July 2020 against Reading to help his side earn a play-off spot.

Cullen enjoyed a run of four starts in five at the beginning of this season but has failed to feature from the bench in the last three league games.

Manager Russell Martin has preferred in-form summer signing Joel Piroe to the Swans academy graduate in recent weeks.

The young striker could now take a step down into the third tier in a bid for regular first-team action in a crucial period in his development.

He will be , maybe not at C/Ship level but he'll thrive with regular playing time

he needs regular game time.

As a potential goalscorer his game is about confidence timing touch and being sharp. This comes with game time under the belt. If he aspires to b a championship player he needs to hit the ground running in the lowers l leagues.

Usually when they link 4 clubs to a player it's nonsense pulled out of a hat (and we're often on the list). They've got a formula.

Will he? Better players than him have fallen down the leagues and failed to thrive.

Baker-Richardson posed more of a goal scoring threat than Cullen ever has, plus he has the advantage of not being built like a 14 year old school child.

Yet he's only just now finding his feet in League 2.

Cullen is a small, weak and slow striker who finishes an astonishingly small percentage of chances created for him.

I'm not sure what others see.

That’s possible, but the actual loan thing would do him good.
When we spoke to the website earlier they were fishing for sure, didn’t want to know personally.
Nothing news story.
