It's not as if we're fielding 11 academy players each week. Their replacements (Piroe and Ntcham) have been tremendous, whilst Laird was excellent to adequate for the opening half of the season. The only player who has left and not been adequately replaced is Guehi. Let's not try and push a narrative that the squad is poor and we are where we should be. We have an incredibly talented squad. Whilst it obviously is not on par with the top two or three, I strongly believe it should be challenging for a Play Off place. |  |
