It's obviously near to us and we wild swim in the lakes in the Borough. It is a quite beautiful borough and overlooked by many. There is a place called "Worlds End" on the outskirts that is simply stunning country. No sign of the heavy industry of old .

The so called 'odd balls' of Gwynedd insist speaking Welsh in shops and pubs in the presence of English people which as we know is only really acceptable if you are a Pakistani / Bangladeshi Muslim in the urban corner shop or restaurant. No one complains about that because it is racist.

Learn the language of your own country if it bothers you that much. Simples. Doesn't bother me as I respect individual rights to speak in whatever language they choose. Funny how many British people think the answer to someone speaking in a foreign tongue is to speak slowly, in English, and possibly with a hint of a Pakistani or Indian accent. Now that type of behaviour is indeed racist.
