I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed recently the increase of unlicensed bikes on the road, popping wheelies everywhere.

I was driving up pentregethin road the other day, and from the three sisters up to Ravenhill, I saw at least 8, WTH?

Not only there, but everywhere, it feels like the police just can't be arsed anymore. The way it's going, they most probably will react when there's a nasty accident, but seriously how hard would it be to have a concerted clampdown by swp, to make them think twice about bringing their bikes out..

I don't won't to come over all Victor Meldrew, but from what I have seen a nasty accident is not far off.

They could well be taxed. It's only £47 a year up to 400cc

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

We got them down here as well little bikes I think they call them pit bikes?
Police don't give a sh1t , we sat in a traffic jam yesterday because a van was on double yellow lines close to traffic lights and in the traffic jam sitting patiently was a police car

I grew up in clase and when we were youngsters the police had duel/sports bikes , many a times the boys would get chased whilst riding their motorbikes either owned or borrowed 👀

I’ve had a Honda Dom and used to go off-road. Legally of course.most bikers are better users of the roads than car drivers . Most car drivers are clowns in a steel cage ,their steel cage .

That said, the cretins that traverse our public roads, helmetless and feral are not bikers but feckless trash .

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Most around my way have no number plates so unlikely to be insured let alone taxed

Yes, That's what I meant by scrambler bikes, no license plate.. I've never been a motorbike rider, do they call them off road bikes?

Although they may as well be call them on road bikes now.

We used to see them around Llansamlet all the time, several years back it was a problem. This comes under a list of things the police no longer seem to deal with.

Another problem is these electric scooters and E bicycles, in Swansea (and I'm sure its worse elsewhere) the town centre is overrun with delivery cycles and even twist and go petrol scooters on the pavements by MacDonalds, somebody is going to get badly hurt one day because they hurtle around, I've had a few near misses. There are often police and PCSO's around and they don't say or do anything.

Yes and it still has its moments now , there used to be a police unit a few years back specifically for this problem but like everything else I suppose theres no money in the pot to fund the bikes they use to use
