I believe the Swansea way is still in place and the 'old boy network' still has major influence with the US ownership. This for me is a good thing.

The post on the club website is evidence. He is very proud of his achievements at Swansea and I have no doubt he loves the Cloob and the area.

Did the club ask him? Are the details of how it was arranged in the public domain? Whether he agreed to it or his people reached out it probably still falls under my assumption. No real need for this, not really sure why he's been given the airtime myself.
