Personally I don't much care what players (or anyone else tbh) earn and I don't hold it against them. It's largely irrelevant unless they're telling me that I should earn less. | |

I agree, but even now if he has good financial advice he can live without financial worry from his income. For me, he is a part of the grass is greener player but what a decent price the club got for him.
One of those maybe the swans could have signed this season and done some decent work with for a nominal wage. We’ve had a lot worse as a centre back. | |

Whether he has £5m in the bank or £5, it's still a sad situation when a player of his ability is so plagued with injury that he's dropping as far down the leagues as he has at the age of only 28. | |
