There are billions of losses, how these get treated will be interesting and will have an impact here because there is so much exposure to crypto currencies and we have similar exposure here in the UK. Should crypto losses be treated as normal capital losses and carried forward indefinitely, when they are unregulated?
Potentially billions of capital gains revenue wiped out.

I’m suspicious of these crypto currencies and see them a bit like a ponzi scheme, that said I could be completely wrong. My personal view is if they are unregulated the losses losses shouldn’t be deductable.
