Martin Lewis seems to be the only commentator who has worked out that poorer people are going to struggle with the additional costs of an expanded ULEZ let alone having to buy an electric car and and air source heat pump etc.

Everyone had been saying this for months . The outer London Boroughs were not even consulted let alone any of the counties surrounding London.

We drove down to QPR, it was 15 quid for ULEZ, if you lived there that's 75 quid per week, 3,900 per year.
