| The state of our rugby players 14:45 - Mar 12 with 2008 views | onehunglow | It’s always good to win BUT Look at our players yesterday and how they simply rain out of steam again. We have front row forwards who not only look unfit but in some distress physically when they have to run ,Tomos Francis a perfect example. Players unable to last a whole game and having to be hooked after 60 mins . They look shattered . Even at my age,I would be mortified if I could leave any of those front row forwards for dead over 200 yards . Maybe this reflects our drinking culture. Same applies to England and their obese boys taken apart by French lads on another level . They were shameful . | |

That has to be the most positive post you have ever constructed I genuinely fear for some of our players ,Keith To be 6 - 1 and 21 stone plus is not good. Why can’t they simply lose a stone . I’ve put on one stone in weight since 1975 and I’m still guilty over it . Richie MCCaw has lost two stone since he stopped playing but his weight gain was muscle which he has now ditched in favour of being lighter and more mobile

Being shattered after 60 mins could be interpreted as a big lad leaving it all on the field. 60 m of intense play then taken off. Wales were on top. The no 10 missed a penalty kick to touch which was the start of a flood of errors and sloppy play when Wales could not do anything right.

It. Oils be but it’s not. It’s also the case you have proven my point . Our chaps are simply unable to last the length of time of a game That is the whole thrust of my argument The French and indeed the Italians looked far fitter. You can be crap but at least 6pm can be fit I M truly worried as to what France could do. Hope&illy they will declare or do what Penaud did yesterday and simply took the pyss at half tilt. He is an incredible player and bet he can’t drink a fraction of what ours can .

The same fitter Italian front row that all had to be replaced by the 61st minute??
| Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎 |

The disorganisation we saw was because of to many substitutions at the same time and with to much time left in the game, which give the Italians extra momentum to the momentum they already had. IMO of course. [Post edited 12 Mar 2023 17:19]

Killy. Me and wifey still swim twice a week . I used to swim 1500 metres which is just short of 100 lengths but now I’ve cut it down as I’m slowing down . I’ve quit running per se now and just cycle ,which reminds me,imagine Tomas Francis on a bike going up the Horseshoe pass . I hasten to add the English front row equally appalling [Post edited 13 Mar 2023 9:09]

Some still work out and keep fit but cut down on the calorie intake as they dont take supplements anymore But i agree they look clueless at times, and as for England it beggars belief the ammount of money they have blown on salaries. They are lucky the grammar and private schools still churn out players every Wednesday.

We won and its a step in the right direction Gats came back in and had his work cut out in having to sort out the shitpile created by Pivac and has since had to deal with another shitstorm with the furore over the players contracts and the financial strains of the WRU, caused by those at the top having stuck their heads in the sand for far to long, all they've been good for is organising their Jolly Boys outings instead of dealing with the real stuff.. There's a current lack of talent coming through that has set Welsh Rugby back years, because of THEIR lack of vision and failings in supporting grass roots Rugby Gatland has got his work cut out and its gonna take time with more hard medicine to come, that is unavoidable, unfortunately.

Garlands tactic is simp,y to kick the ball high hoping somebody drops it. Next we play France who have a full back who is stunning ,and as for Oenaud,a wing who will accept a gift and run 70 yds to pop the ball down, visibly slowly down and smiling as he beats the last man. Do it to these guys and they could declare at half time. It doesn’t bear thinking about I could also mention their back row but it’s too painful to behold
