It does seem a tad odd, also given the fact that serving politicians have to be made aware of potential criminal action by the police when in office.

Digging up the garden now. It's like something out of Brookside. Honestly... right, left, middle they are all a bunch of self serving shiites. These people are supposed to represent us. None of them represent me personally. One disappointment after another.

It's not in the tank mate. The police believe it's buried under the garden . This is the woman who a lot Scottish people put their trust in and could have broken up the United Kingdom.

The Welsh nats obviously have little confidence in themselves if they have to wait for Scotland to do it first.

Pipe dream that won’t happen.

UK general government gross debt was £2,445.2 billion at the end of Quarter 3 (July to September) 2022, equivalent to 100.2% of gross domestic product (GDP).

New figures show an eye-watering £437 million was spent on PPE from just three VIP suppliers. The PPE remains unusable or unavailable for release to frontline uk NHS staff.

Liz Truss's disastrous mini-budget cost the country a staggering £30bn — doubling the sum that the Treasury says will have to be raised by Jeremy Hunt this week in a huge programme of tax rises and spending cuts.

The devolved nations are no match for the uk government in wasting public money and bunging their mates.

If Comrade Nicola is guilty then like anyone else she should be prosecuted.

So will the recent revelations in Scotland help, hinder or make no difference to your claim of impending independence up there.

Perhaps she was all for allowing male rapists into female prisons because she fancied a shag whilst she was in there.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Great question.

I dont know.

Its a matter for the Scottish people, not Westmonster.
But its a fairly evenly divided nation.

The young supporting Comrade Nicola and the old voting Johnson made the path to Indy pretty much inevitable.?its a whole new ball game now.

I cant see Labour getting their support base back though. Will they like Starmer enough ? I dont think so. And thats the threat to the SNP for their anti-Tory voters.

What do you think ?

I have visited Scotland many times over the last couple of years and from talking to locals it never seemed a close call re independence, there was always a strong feeling against. I have not been up since sturgeon resigned, but my gut feeling is Labour will have a huge resurgence.

Meanwhile in the EU paradise of France the French National debt is expected to reach 112% of GDP.

Economic inactivity in France 25.9%
Economic inactivity in UK 21.4%

Unemployment in France is 7%
Unemployment in UK is 3.7%

Why on earth would Scotland and Wales want to leave the UK and become far poorer by joining the EU.

Hardly fairly divided 44.7 % for independence 55.3% for remaining in the UK.

Exactly the same as the independence referendum 9 years ago despite 9 years non stop campaigning by the SNP.

You keep calling for another referendum in Scotland but are against a second referendum on Welsh Devolution where Wales was truly divided 50.3% for 49.7% against.

I think the referendum is a matter for the people who live in Scotland only.
They keep voting SNP.

You think Scotland is a nation in jail. Some union this must be if you have to hold nations against their collective will.

Likewise Cymru, likewise Brexit.

Remember this, the people of Cymru have never voted to join the blessed UK.
We will need to test that will in due course.

Don't forget the turnout was only 50.22% which means only 25% of the electortate supported it.

They keep voting SNP yet they voted against going indy.

No one is in jail, no one is held against their will but you would have kept the UK in the EU despte us choosingto leave.

There is not the support in Wales to even justify a vote on indy AND Wales voted to leave the EU too.

Wles was part of the UK before democracy happened here and we have never asked to leave. That decision will be up to ALL of the people, not just you.

Wales pre-dates the UK, of course.

Although some people argue that the UK was formed in 1707 by the Act of Union between England, Wales and Scotland, the name United Kingdom wasn't adopted until 1801 when Ireland was brought into the union.

Whereas Wales lost its independence in 1282 when it was conquered by the English King Edward I.
