If he’s apologising for stuff that happened 20 years ago and before his time then in my opinion he shouldn’t be expected to resign, but he should make it clear any inappropriate action will be addressed properly. Totally agree, they completely misjudged the mood in the room. I’ve met Edwards and he came across as a decent guy. He’s a good constituency MP, but he’s left himself down and compromised his position. Getting caught speeding or being banned from totting up is one thing, but I think the Caution is something else. |  | |  |
