Almost got the Cardiff gig.
But they gave it to Mark Hudson. That went well.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Nathan Jones. Left Luton for Southampton, record W1 D0 L7 PPG 0.38 according to Southampton supporters a major reason for their relegation. Out of work.

Luton appoint Rob Edwards. Finish 3rd in the Championship and promoted through the play offs , since Edwards took charge 25 games 50 points. Next season he is managing in the Premier League.

That went very well.

He wasn’t that well thought of after Watford sacked him, but he reminds me in a way of Brendan Rodgers.

I knew him from managing FGR. When he was sacked by Watford, I said to all my mates that he would be perfect for us, however we would have needed owners on the ground in the UK to make a move that brave. I think we would have been close to top two with him in charge. Still, it's hard to believe he will have more than one season in the Prem.

I agree with your comment about the 1 season in the Premier League, however even if they do crash and burn after 1 season he’ll still have earned the club a minimum of around £225m by the time TV revenue for 1 season and 3 years worth of parachute payments are factored in.

If Luton use that money sensibly, build a competitive squad which doesn’t need to broken up if they get relegated to balance the books they could set themselves up as a yo-yo club, which I think for most clubs is as good as it gets.

They were talking about building a new stadium yesterday.

Edwards is not a philosophy based coach by the sound of it. He is more like a Steve (we did not play in the way we wanted today) Cooper pragmatist.

In the post match interview he was praised to the hills for not changing Luton's muscular direct system.

He could be a future Swansea manager but would have to be adaptable and play in Swansea's chose way.
