If a fee has been agreed then his preference to not play and risk getting injured is understandable, if not excusable. He's been an integral part of the team in pre-season and it's pretty clear that Duff saw him as an important player going forward.
All of which makes it imperative that we do our utmost to replace him with a player possessing similar attributes. We have to have a midfielder capable of carrying the ball into the danger areas, someone who can break the lines if required. Without Oli we haven't really got one. |  |

Strange post |
Let me explain.
a) Olivier loves it at Swansea and does not want to go to Turkey. He says I am available for the Birmingham game and not going anywhere.
Coleman says we need the money Oliver and you have to go. Oliver says OK I will go but give me 4 month wages £100,000 a loyalty payment.
b) The Turks offer Olivier a big contract and take about a decent transfer fee. Swansea are not bothered.
Oliver asks do you want me to stay or go?. I need a pay rise to stay. Swansea say . You are under contract Olivier. You can stay here or go to Turkey. It is up to you.
Olivier says I want to go to Turkey, Swansea say sign this release form here then or your playing this afternoon. Olivier says I am not playing. Happy days off you go. |  |
