Swansea City : Our final say on the weekend 17th Sep 2023 20:54
There have been numerous well made points this weekend on the South Wales derby game. Everyone has an opinion, some more lucid than others for sure, but over all not one Swansea City fan will be happy with Michael Duff’s approach to such the Cardiff City game. 2

That was a difficult read, when looking for a glimmer of hope.

Reading articles you always err on how much truth or conjecture.

My take is, is it believable? Sadly I do, as performances show that the club & team seem to be drifting, and what we are told by the owners and management is not reflected in what we see on the pitch.

There’s a lot more that could be said.

Duff could learn a lot from Martin.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

He could have moved to the area and "got" the club, tradition, city and supporters.

Any hope, gets smashed not just put down.

If things are that bad then there is only one outcome.
Next 2 games are massive as the following 4 look like defeats.
That brings us to quarter way through the season, where everything will be an uphill struggle.

Maybe there’s a gentlemen’s agreement that if things go well then he will move, as it stands he could be gone before he exchanges contracts on a house.

If he were to be fired this month then that would be really unusual for us .
We were thinking it was a good window too

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

We have our worst winless start in the league for 32 years. Unusual times needs unusual action. Still early in the season but if we don't win tomorrow, Saturday will not be nice if we don't play well.

Yep, I agree.
I’m away from Wednesday and for once will not be looking to watch us on my tablet when there’s an ocean in front of me to swim in.

I think Gabbidon who has always been fair in his comments about us pretty much nailed it with this:

"Swansea just looked like how Cardiff used to be over the last two or three seasons. Rigid, not connected, passes not connecting, players not on the same wavelength, no real game plan, and that is just not the Swansea way."

"From a Swansea point of view, I worry about that performance because it's so far removed from what we've been used to seeing. The fans won't stand for what they've seen. My worry is, will the players stand for it because some of them have been so used to playing a different way, and that's not the Swansea City we know?"
