We have had 2 wins.
That’s abysmal.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

There is ( at the moment ) far too many things that are affecting the head coach’s ability to coach, as he stated this week. They have now resorted to cutting and editing his interviews, e.g like today post match. Slippery slope ahead regards Duff’s relationship with this lot.

As an aside - There’s a fool in our midst and elsewhere stating Coleman doesn’t get paid. Hilarious, but then as we know who he is he will be left alone whilst other matters are attended to.

They didn't inspire the crowd until the goals.
Then straight after half time that cause for joviality was wiped away.
Only seemed like one winner.
No wonder the crowd were largely subdued.
Add to that passing sideways in the 90th minute making a return

One of those wins was against an absolutely abysmal Sheff weds, so 1 and a half home wins really

Let’s not blame the fans who turned up. Plenty must have had better things to do yesterday. If you want to point the finger at the fanbase, they are probably a fairer target.

That and the predictable football we play.

Because ,those of us who watched it via stream ,get that impression.
Even Andy Robby called it out.
The fact you go doesn’t mean you should get defensive .
When we were two goals down, there seemed no encouragement at all to get into them .
You can deny it all you want and carry on your personal crap.

Blame
Pointy fingers
Well no,just observations ,which upset some .
People blame the owners, players, coach and the stadium cat .
It’s all part of the experience

It’s not upsetting, you have a valid point. The atmosphere was non existent.

It’s equally, if not more valid, for me to point out that those that chose not to go are more to blame for the lack of atmosphere.

I also think it’s deluded and arrogant of fans who don’t attend games to criticise those who do, but that’s just my opinion.

If you’re living local then fine . In my case I’m a 450 mile round trip .
Reading the insults banded around,we don’t give the impression of exactly being welcoming to each others .
The point here is the lack of atmosphere and not fan loyalty really . Those in the stadium logically should be the most vociferous, passionate, lifelong ,but topics like this descend into inter fan insults .

Those who didn't go aren't to blame for anything. I didn't go, it wasn't that I had something better to do but simply, I've had enough.

I've had enough of the owners BS, spin and nonsense. I've had enough of very well paid people not doing their job.
It's not new, I've nearly walked away before but now I have zero enthusiasm, zero hope things will improve and zero reasons to waste more time and money. it started back in the Premier league.

It's been 51 years since I started going but I don't know when or if I'll bother again. Football has become boring and thus, pointless.

I get that
It’s also got to be said you are still allowed to comment on the team, club ,matches and the atmosphere and general demeanour .
Atmosphere does come over via streaming ,not as strong granted ,but one cannot manufacture silence .
Frankly,to me,the crowd choked and expected Hull to come back. People down there aren’t dumb and could see Hull could be dangerous and so it proved. Anticipation really that the day would not end successfully .Many were exiting well before the end too and that is the same whether one is there in person or not .

Blame is probably the wrong word. In my opinion though, if he’s going to criticise the lack of atmosphere, I think it’s out of order to criticise those who keep attending, despite all the valid reasons that have stopped you and plenty of others going.

We all knew the kind of game it was going to be. Win, lose or draw, they are invariably uninspiring arm wrestles.

I’m not criticising you for not going. I live in Swansea and go to 3 or 4 away games a year. I’m hardly a super fan.

At the same time, I wouldn’t ever criticise fans at a game I watched in my living room, whether they’d travelled 450 miles or lived by the ground.

Unfortunately the most vociferous and ‘passionate’ fans these days seem to be on the internet.

Me and +Cat are gettin in a bit,me more than him though,so we have to look to the young bloods to show us the way.
Looking at the crowd yesterday, they seemed ,listless, motionless, sullen, sad, and thoroughly miserable .very little in the way of interaction . It looked like a sense of duty to be there .
Watching the Luton crowd on MOTD in that craohole of a stadium,I felt rather tearful at it all.

What would happen if we all decided not to attend?
The club would fold.
As fans we have to take the rough with the smooth.

I can’t stand our owners.
I think the manager is completely the wrong fit.
The recruitment isn’t good.
A lot of the players are below the standard we need.

But run from the front line? Never.

That's actually a good post most of which I agree
I was merely hoping the crowd and team would lift each other and get a winner
There is a malfunction somewhere along the line
I remember the dark days right back to 1958 but none as bad as the 80s implosion and the PL relegation from which I've not recovered
Enjoy this Sabbath Day

To be honest, it did feel like a sense of duty to be there. It’s not an unfamiliar feeling. We had similar periods under Cooper, Martin and even in the PL under Clement.

That’s kind of the point though. We’re all facing the same frustrations, some show up regardless, others pick and choose and will be back when we’re playing better football. Those that show up when others can’t be bothered are the ones you’re criticising.

With respect, I'm not criticising any individual
Were I still living down there I'd be there screaming my skull off

That’s a bit of a cop out. You’re criticising the fans as a collective.

I’m not disagreeing about the atmosphere, but you could at least give credit to those who show up when others don’t fancy it.
