Swansea City in a crisis of their own making 26th Nov 2023 12:30
The Swans may well have disappointed the majority of fans who turned up to watch their team yesterday afternoon. Indeed they may well be finding it hard to attract supporters this close to Christmas with just 14,864 attending the Swansea.Com Stadium yesterday. The attendances are slipping far beyond what would be considered okay. 0

Thought for the day

Good managers always seem to make things work.
But it’s up to the owners to pick the good manager in the first place.
Unfortunately for us we’ve got neither. 😩😩😩

Amen

I recall a black day a few year back when Huw Jenkins was the chairman and Graham Potter the manager. A 1-2 lost to Bristol city. The fans turned on Jenkins

Swansea had Olsen Fer Van de Horn, Dan James McBurney Grimes Celina.

A great chairman and a great manager. We had both.

THE FANS demanded the removal of Jenkins and the Trust were on his case too (and forums like the stone cold losers Planetswans). Swansea fans have clout. they were 21% owers.

I do not do personal stuff but watch your language. Go to Planetswans if you want to eff and jeff. It may be more suitable for you.

I cannot help it if you cannot see what is going on. Things have changed. The club got very close to a return under Cooper but stagnated under Martin who did not even complete his project having demanded time he went at the earliest convenience.

Crowds have been solid but Christmas is approaching. All Championship side sell,. It is a fact of life Those that do not are owed £100m to their owners. Boro Cardiff Stoke. They are no better than Swansea.

Swansea fans find good news unpalatable. Whinging and moaning. Forums do not help with the "£45 derby" nonsense. If you want to go to Leeds and cannot afford it do some overtime and leave the begging bowl at home.

The ignore button are for the insecure and s weak that do not want to engage in debate. Given that they lack logical thinking it is not surprising. Football fans feel comfortable in a group with a simple narrative to follow. There should be no ignore button.

Lack of debate was the cause of the current plight of the Trust. Selling shares and a 'nest egg' were never discussed then.

I’m not heeding my own advice by responding but I meant just ignore rather than use the button. However, posters should do what they want to do.

And as for the comment about lacking logical thinking, a bit ironic coming from you, eh?

just my views

a) they are in charge but don't seem to have the ability to push the club on. They have been here 7 years and it has been generally quite miserable. No consistency. Too many changes at the top too often.

b) they communicate only when they believe they have good news. And sometimes they communicate badly eg Coleman on Winter and Marsh on May 8th.

c) they may have a three transfer window strategy but it cannot be called successful since July 2016

d) not sure - if they have money to spend then Duff needs to be informed as he was unsure in a recent press conference about the January transfer window strategy.

e) yes being beefed up but far too many changes in a short period of time. Can we justify Watson and Hodge - if the latter joins from Burnley?

f) true / agree

g) the basic squad is not good enough and we will bounce between mid-table and flirt with relegation.
h) the Trust have done incredible work since 2001 but have made considerable mistakes in recent times which.

i) the £45 decision has just increased the disengagement by fans towards the club and owners. An own goal by the club. And I really hope the team put in a performance for the loyal travelling fans on Wednesday night.

Listen mate there's no debating with the likes of you, you don't debate you just state pure lemon cheesecake and nonsense that is only true between your ears, you're a boney chocolate covered strawberry that's why you're on ignore.

I know the truth which has been proved to you time and time and over and over, the only one who is insecure is you because you keep running away with your own incorrect narrative, insecure and weak indeed.

Here's a quid go and buy yourself some sense,

This is my last interaction with you. Call me a wimp or anything you want its water off a ducks back, everyone on here can see what you're about and more and more are waking up to the fact!

If you want to put me on ignore then ignore. Do not put me on ignore then fire potshots at me and tell others to put me ignore as well. It is cowardly.

Swansea city is Welsh US business. While the US are fighting the Welsh "want protection". The 5% protected shares whoopie get the deckchairs we can do eff all for another 20 years.

I will comment on your post whether you like it or not. See if Keith can arrange some "protection" for you.

Don't tell me what to and what not to post or what to do who the f are you, more and more posters are realising what you're about for themselves.

I couldn't give a tuppeny f about the Trust same as I couldn't give a f about you, but you crack on making assumptions, its all you got.

Why would I want to arrange Keith to arrange "protection" for me, DM me if you want to threaten me and see where it gets you.

I'm waiting!

You're off ignore, so crack on.
