Swansea City in a crisis of their own making 26th Nov 2023 12:30
The Swans may well have disappointed the majority of fans who turned up to watch their team yesterday afternoon. Indeed they may well be finding it hard to attract supporters this close to Christmas with just 14,864 attending the Swansea.Com Stadium yesterday. The attendances are slipping far beyond what would be considered okay. 0

Listen mate there's no debating with the likes of you, you don't debate you just state pure lemon cheesecake and nonsense that is only true between your ears, you're a boney chocolate covered strawberry that's why you're on ignore.

I know the truth which has been proved to you time and time and over and over, the only one who is insecure is you because you keep running away with your own incorrect narrative, insecure and weak indeed.

Here's a quid go and buy yourself some sense,

This is my last interaction with you. Call me a wimp or anything you want its water off a ducks back, everyone on here can see what you're about and more and more are waking up to the fact!

just my views

a) they are in charge but don't seem to have the ability to push the club on. They have been here 7 years and it has been generally quite miserable. No consistency. Too many changes at the top too often.

b) they communicate only when they believe they have good news. And sometimes they communicate badly eg Coleman on Winter and Marsh on May 8th.

c) they may have a three transfer window strategy but it cannot be called successful since July 2016

d) not sure - if they have money to spend then Duff needs to be informed as he was unsure in a recent press conference about the January transfer window strategy.

e) yes being beefed up but far too many changes in a short period of time. Can we justify Watson and Hodge - if the latter joins from Burnley?

f) true / agree

g) the basic squad is not good enough and we will bounce between mid-table and flirt with relegation.
h) the Trust have done incredible work since 2001 but have made considerable mistakes in recent times which.

i) the £45 decision has just increased the disengagement by fans towards the club and owners. An own goal by the club. And I really hope the team put in a performance for the loyal travelling fans on Wednesday night.

Putting your cards on the table. Answering my points not questioning the poster. Bravo.

The ability of Coleman and Gude is not clear. I do not judge them on a random tweet of or the odd statement. hey have raised expectations in my case and I expect them to deliver.

Most of the new recruitment team permanent signings (Watson) are struggling for game time. Tymon, Pedersen, Njoe an On and Kukhareveich. All the loans are quality. So it is a mixed bag. Goalkeepers are Margetson picks it seems. Broome has not be seen. Key has been watched pre Watson.

The Trust whopping error is not selling any share when 1% holding was worth a whopping £1m. The membership were asleep and not hold the board to account or cross examine their failed strategy.

The "fans " who were hell bent of suing them for £20m want the owners to subsidise Leeds fans for £42,000 while Leeds subsidise Swansea fans for £12,000. Not a chance in hell.

a) They've taken charge but they're taking us backwards
b) They are communicating with fans but it's spin and BS.
c) They have a three transfer window strategy but what about the previous windows?
d) Do they? Maybe they'd better tell Duff
e) The recruitment side is being overstocked with expensive staff.
f) Wison? Not been near the first xi has he?
g) The basic squad is something to build off but short of penetration. OK
h) The Trust are just brown nosers now.
i) The club has seriously annoyed a lot of fans, it was a PR own goal and nothing to be proud of. Where do you get your numbers from?

a) Gude has only recently been unveiled. Give the guy a chance. Coleman here a few months
b) Open forum coming up. Yes agree straight taking and specifics required
c) U owners have admitted to errors and looking to improve and will.
d) They have said they have a budget. Duff is not martin and gives away very little.
e) Pay peanut and get monkeys. What do you want? They have to deliver.
f) Wilson / Congreve were on the bench Saturday. Azeem featured early in the season.
g) Agreed
h) The Trust have no purpose. I have made several suggestions. This is a forum for ideas.
i) What the fans wanted was nonsense and once again Leeds Utd have messed SCFC around. I will not let it rest. The club had agreed to a request for subsidised tickets for the Stoke game. Fans looking for a free lunch should no get annoyed.

£20 subsidy for 600 Swansea fans (£45 to £25) = £12 000.
£20 subisidy for 2100 Leeds fans (£40 to £20) = £42,000.

I understand the maths behind it, but the Stoke City arrangement came by way of the Trust.

SC asked for my ball park figures. I was going to mention the Trust but already had said they have no purpose. A simple fans representative would do what they are doing now.

The Trust like Coleman could see scope for growth in the women's team. The club could technically ask for extra money off Reviva for sponsoring the Women's shirts. I liked the idea of the SCST sponsoring the Women's shirts. Reviva may be getting advertising for free.
