Actually, we’ve nothing against him at all. We try to keep the reports and features impersonal. But he’s digging his own holes everywhere. And now he admits the fans and the club aren’t connected.

league position is sometimes included in clauses in contracts ie the lower the league position the less the pay-off.

If it’s less than a million I would be very surprised, but yes, there could have been some clever clauses. We will never know.
