He’s absolutely no experience mate.

He was doing his “B” badge about 3 years ago. Not sure if he went on from there.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The sister of a chap I work with went out with a bloke who had a friend that knew someone that did a day trip to Holland a couple of years ago and met someone who said that Ten Hag is gonna be available soon.

I think he may have spent a bit of time in a coffee shop whilst he was there

If Williams or Neil Taylor wanted the gig he would need a strong number two. That would be his old centre back mate Garry Monk I would imagine.

Monk is cut i the same mould as Duff. He seems a much nicer person less dour in the flesh than in press conferences perhaps?. He has learned lot of lessons one would think.

He had a raw deal at Swansea losing an of fire Bony and getting Eder and Fat France in his place. He is not getting any mentions in football gossip pages these day so might consider ano 2 role.

I thought Monk was a shite manager tbh, but bringing back some club legends like Ash, Rangel, or Tayls with a proper old head - Osian ? - as a number 2 might be a good move.
Immediate respecr.

Great idea, let's employ a manager with no experience at all.

Immediate respect from whom though ? all those mentioned contemporises are no longer with the Club and as others have posted what experiences have they other than Monk who's not exactly been a managerial success other than being successful in topping up his bank account

Al Garry Monk's teams were tight and organised but lacking in flair. He must have learned a lot and made a lot of mistakes but it is all experience.

If an old player comes in with no experience Monk would make a great number two. Monk and Williams were close. He signed Pablo Hernandez for Leeds Utd. He might not even consider it but he is unlikely to get another job at high level as manager.

He got doubles over Arsenal and Man Utd. Imagine that? .

Well the players usually respect well known international level players, and supporters respect our club legends.

I seem to recall a lot of fans were glad to see the back of Monk. There’s no such thing as must have learned a lot, plenty of people go through life making the same mistake time after time. I’m not saying that’s the case with GM, but plenty of people go through life without learning or developing.

I can’t see why the club would want to give the job up an old player with no experience, I think it’s crackers. I wouldn’t entrust my multi million pound business to someone with no experience nor would I take my car to a garage and expect the apprentice with no experience take care of it.

As Raynor has stated Rodger’s had managerial experience prior to joining Swansea, he’d spent time in Spain analysing different coaching methods, headed up Watford’s academy before moving to Chelsea’s academy under Jose Mourhinio and he then managed Reading and Watford before starting with the Swans.

Martinez inherited a decent team in a Division lower than the Swans are currently in. He didnt have any previous experience, but did well and took the club up. A decent finish the following season and he was then offski.

I think the club is a world away from where it was when Martinez was appointed and in my opinion going for the rookie option is bonkers.

People make far too much of the opinions of fans. Garry Monk would have continued success with more backing after the club took in £28m for Bony.

I disagree over experience. Only a particularly stupid person would not learn anything. Monk was not a extreme manager so would not be blinded by a particular philosophy.
