It was as predicted with the Swansea four leading the charge to a home tie against Poland on Tuesday night. A spectacular performance which saw man for man the home side destroying Finland at every turn.

They went through comfortably and with some nice goals. I suggest that there was not a lot of "style".

- Three centre back (who sometimes got in each other's way) Mepham Rodon Ampadu -
- Three full backs Roberts Nico W (admittedly attacking) and Davies.
- One normal midfielder J James
- Three nippy tricky attackers Wilson Brooks and Johnson playing on the break.

They won from a scruffy high energy running and pressing with a dash of inspiration for Wilson and Brooks. Good enough for Finland. At 3-1 Wales had space but neither Ampadu nor J James could find their forwards with accurate passing.

Rubin Colwill has class and could be the man to be the link for Germany if they get there.
