André Almeida would rather join Swansea City on loan than complete a permanent transfer.
The midfielder believes a temporary move would give him the chance to rebuild his value after a difficult spell at Valencia before deciding on his long-term future next summer.
The report adds he is no longer ruling out any scenario, but a loan remains his clear preference.

Do we really want a player who is trying to dictate what we and his club do.

It seems Valencia are insisting it's permanent and we have had an offer accepted they need the money to spend on others

True but I would rather we developed our players and take the profit.

Swansea close to Almeida deal
Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:
Swansea City are close to agreeing a deal worth £5.2m for Valencia attacking midfielder Andre Almeida.
It’s understood discussions have been centred around an initial fee of £3m, plus £2.2m in add-ons as well as a sell-on clause.
Almeida, 26, was left out of Valencia’s training yesterday and continues to discuss personal terms with the Welsh club.
