Any truth in he has agreed terms and a fee of £3M.

Yup expires on the 30th although they had been talking about a new contract so seems unlikely to me.

Yes please ,they say never go back but proven at this level.Hopefully he's calmed down and his best yet to come ,certainly with decent crosses into the box and not too shabby with either foot, compared to Yates then a no brained.imo

Maybe but can you see us paying a £3M signing on fee - might allow us to get him within our wages structure but still £3M!

Possibly just wishful thinking on my part. But £2.5M for Yates and £10-12K a week equates to the same money. Yates does have a resale value where as Mcburnie wouldn't at 31. If it could be done it would put bums on seats at well as giving us a massive lift.

Perhaps free transfer with Swansea paying £1m per season for three seasons £20k per week.

Wise sage since Toshack era

Yates worth more Ollie in 3 years time I cannot imagine that scenario. I'm renewing my season ticket the moment that McB becomes official.

Can’t sign a player for 3m when he’s out of contract.

Swans wouldn’t pay that anyway.

He may well be of interest, but that account is 😂

That's why the money is still in my bank account.

Good timing though.

In Profile : Oli McBurnie, Swansea or Rangers ? His choices examined 20th Jun 2024 15:47
In another of our player profile series we take a look at a familiar face to the Swansea City support. That figure is Oli McBurnie, currently contracted to Sheffield United for the next ten days. This series each transfer window has seen a tremendous growth in viewing figures which in turn assists our charity alliance with the Brain Tumour Charity. So, thanks for your continued support. 2

I don’t think it’s a transfer rumour, it’s just wishful thinking on the part of supporters who would like it to happen. The Swans aren’t in his salary range, and Rangers are his preferred choice. This is why we do profiles on players in the hope people will understand the situation 👍
