It's hard enough to buy a productive striker as it is but to see our main goal threat out for a couple of weeks is a bit disheartening , no disrespect to our other players and hopefully Idah will pick up the mantle and make us forget about VIP ,for awhile that is. | |

Make or break time for Idah and an opportunity for Wales? |
I think Idah is actually better suited to the way we played second half at Charlton. He’s better at linking play and creating chances for runners.
If we’re going to be playing like we have up until then, with the striker quite isolated, Vipotnik is far better. He can smash them in from distance and acute angles, so doesn’t really need clear chances created for him. Can’t expect Idah to do that.
Re. Wales. Sheehan obviously doesn’t fully trust him yet, but the fixtures are so heavy in November and December are so heavy, Idah isn’t going to be able to play every minute if Vipotnik is out a bit longer.
Cullen will get minutes and I hope Wales does too. Get him a loan in January if not. | | | |
