You are more optimistic than me. When you look at yesterday we were not far off scoring four, it will all click soon. Blackburn have two away games, we have two home games, for once we should be the fresher of the two sides. Ipswich away and three days later Swansea away is not easy.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

| Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Match day thread on 19:39 - Jan 18 with 4777 views | KeithHaynes | Backhouse was the referee when we beat Oxford at home. He is dodgy as. A few remarks from Liam in his report. Oxford had a free kick which took over a minute to take due to the fussiness of referee, Anthony Backhouse. Hopefully that wouldn’t continue but coming up to eight minutes we had seen nothing from Swansea. The Swans first attack resulted in a huge penalty shout for a foul on Ronald, this resulted in a U’s breakaway where Mills for Oxford shot wide. Backhouse ruled out a nailed on penalty, last season for the Swans at West Brom he did exactly the same. Ronald was clearly pushed in that challenge, once again shocking officiating from the referee. Backhouse continued to influence the game stopping a Swans attack for a nothing challenge on Oxford captain, Helik More ruthless fouling was ignored by Backhouse, as an incompetent an official you will see. Then the play overspilled into physical aggression as Oxford now employed more ridiculous tactics. The referee was completely at fault for all that was now occurring. His officiating with a bias that was now being questioned by the crowd all around me. Tymon and Harris were booked. The way this official was handling this game surely has to be questioned. Vipotnik was kicked to the ground by Krestev who had already been booked, no action from the referee. Eom was again brought down on the Swans left and again the referee took no action regards a card Melker Widell was slapped around the face by Vaulks off the ball. You guessed it Backhouse nor his assistant saw it. Backhouse was back at it on sixty nine minutes giving a clear foul on Stamenic against him. | |

Let's hope the players understand this before the kick-off. There's no point diving at the slightest touch, as the referee is going to ignore it. We don't get given penalties for nailed-on offences anyway, so there's no chance tomorrow night. Keep standing tall and fight for it. Don't expect anything from the referee.

Think the referee's are being asked to let things go a bit early on but it does seem as if persistent fouls are being committed to break play up by different players in a team especially across the midfield, we have seen on a number occasions refs finally awarding bookings citing numerous offences by individuals but surely the same rules as in Rugby should apply , the ref warns the captain about the number of fouls committed and states he will book individuals if the number of fouls continues whoever from the offending team commits the last foul. The only thing with that would the bias against us that seems to be prevalent still exist?

What did you make of last Saturday's ref issuing no yellow cards and allowing persistent fouling. In particular when we had a player [Widell?] breaking and was hauled back, he broke free and and the ref signaled he was playing advantage only to be hauled down by the same player again, the game was stopped foul given but no yellow. That is more than highly suspicious. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Arrogant. | | | |
| Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Match day thread on 20:38 - Jan 20 with 3220 views | AnotherJohn | That was another frustrating half. We got ourselves in a good position and then went into a phase of sloppy passing and inability to keep possession that could have left us 1-2 down except for a last-ditch tackle by Burgess. Vip has delivered but too many of the others need to step up a notch. | | | |

Definitely, eom has been very poor by his standards, the same with franco and melker, they thought it was going to be a doddle.

Yep, after going one up confidence should have been well up, but they seemed to have relaxed and then got caught with a sucker punch. [Post edited 20 Jan 20:49]

Otherwise detained tonight so watching from the side lines but recently it appears when we score first then it looks we do our level best to throw the lead away, sometimes think we’d be better off chasing the game than leading it.
