| Adam Worth exclusive 19:54 - Apr 13 with 4672 views | KeithHaynes | Adam Worth is confirmed a leaving his role at Swansea City. We had been asked to not comment until an official announcement. Unfortunately the information was leaked this morning. We can also confirm that a new director of football has been approached for appointment already. Worth left after the Leicester game on the weekend. No major story other than he is interesting Premier League Clubs. š“ EXCLUSIVE plus Worth ā After nearly two years at Swansea City, the time has come for me to move on to the next chapter in my career as I pursue another opportunity. I leave the club with immense pride in the foundations we've built together and the value we've added to the squad. I have no doubt this has set us up for future success. The club is in great hands - with talented staff, an ambitious ownership group, and a squad that feels in a far healthier place heading into a summer window than it has in some time. It was a dream fulfilled for me to go from standing on the North Bank as a child, to then being able to help guide the club I love to completing an important first step in an exciting long term recruitment plan. I will always value the incredible relationships I've built at the club and wish everyone at Swansea City all the success in the world. I hope that one day our paths cross again so we can finish what we started togetherā Once a Jack, Always a Jack! āŖļøā«ļø | |

| Adam Worth exclusive on 20:37 - Apr 13 with 3704 views | swansjack84 | What will his legacy be? Stamenic, Galbraith, Widell and Walta or the terrible loan players. To be fair we have been bad getting loans for a while now. Wasn't expecting this news, wonder if he walked or they pushed him out? We really don't do things easy. Let's hope the club doesn't mess this up as it seemed we was onto a good thing. [Post edited 13 Apr 20:38]

We had that on Sunday morning I think, will have to ask Liam but well before Coleman ( who copied the story from another journalist) the club didnāt tell him.

Surely you can't just leave by choice and take another job without a financial payment to the club.

Think it's the club's decision. Don't think he'd opt to leave his boyhood club for PL

More to it than that. He isn't leaving for another job. And thatās direct from the club. Plus, Andrew Mangan is not in any way being employed as DOF.

He definitely wasnāt sacked. He was a very popular employee. Can assure you our contact at the club states quite a few are quite upset. Plus this

So if he walked and takes another job we are entitled to compensation.

Is that the DoF's job though (not entirely sure what they do!) You'd think head of recruitment would have to be it's own job

I will give you an example of how a director of football would have helped Swansea . Graham Potter was as a great coach but his recruitment was terrible. He wanted pace and spent £2m on Asoro. A DoF would gave said hang in mate we already have Dan James in the wings. Better to keep your transfer money £7m on ages for Fernandez, Ayew A and try to persuade Fabianski to stay. £7m on Declan John, McKay, Asoro and Celena.

I see they fell for the āappointment is closeā news which we first reported on Twitter yesterday. The BBC snapped it up. Thereās our first marker for the summer that these people steal from sites like this. I wouldnāt expect an appointment as soon as they are now stating, but then they have to add a bit of BS to give themselves a bit of credibility. 1-0 the Indy. Nobody knows how close the club are today, but Iām thinking within a month ?
